When I went to Czech Republic to spend my winter vacation, I didn't think at all I would fall in love with this wonderful country. We went to Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort in Czechia which is considered to be one of the best ski resorts in the country. There we rented a nice ski hut at a very favorable price and we really surprised at the quality of the service. We really didn’t expect the service to be so good at a price we rented it. We had everything we needed there and we felt as if we were at home. The other thing that made me really glad with my choice was the nature. Špindlerův Mlýn offers really excellent views and good ski conditions. Of course, mountains there are not so high as they are in the Alps but it was enough for us as we were just beginners in skiing. The weather was also excellent all the time we spend there, so we came back home full of impressions from our ski vacation in Czech Republic and happy. 

It's absolutely impossible to get to know the country without traveling around it. And I understood this simple truth when I spent my vacation in Lithuania. I went there on holidays to visit a friend of mine. Frankly speaking, the only thing I wanted to do there was to relax on the seaside. But my friend was of another opinion. She had a car, so she planned an excursion program for us as she wanted to show me her country. We went to Trakai, a very ancient city that was the former resident of Lithuanian grand dukes. This place appeared to be very picturesque as it was surrounded by four wonderful lakes. More over, the most important attraction of the city was its castle. The castle is a really unique place as only here people have the opportunity to see the Lithuanian knights. We were lucky to see the knights’ tournaments that was organized by one of the local clubs there. It was a real show! It seemed to me that I found myself in the Middle Ages and took part in one of the Lithuanian battles for their motherland. So good the “knights” acted in the castle. I was under impression from what I saw and I wanted to get to know more about her country. So she promised to take me Vilnius the next day to show the capital of Lithuania. But this is another story…

I will never forget my vacation in Liguria. In 2007 I went to San Remo once to visit the famous song festival. For the first time it took place in 1951 and since that time it is held annually. I was really impressed with everything I saw there. I have never seen such a show before. Such singers as Al Bano, Leda Battisti, Milva and Simone Cristicchi took part in it. The show was really great. The next day after show I and a friend of mine went shopping. I bought a nice top and new jeans in one of the local boutiques. In the evening we went to the beach. It was very beautiful there. We enjoyed the warm spring sun on the lounge and drank fresh orange juice. I wanted to swim but it was too cold for swimming there. In the evening we went to a pub where we had an excellent Ligurian wine Vermentino. On the whole, that time I had an excellent vacation in Liguria and I still hope to go there some day again.

I have never thought I would ever go on holidays to Venice. But it happened in my life, and it happened by chance. That summer I was going on holidays to Tenerife but at the last moment I had to refuse from my trip there as I found a very interesting destination in the Venice region. It was the city of Peschiera del Garda. It is a nice city located on the shore of the prominent Lake Garda in the Venice region. In this Venetian city I had an excellent vacation. First of all every day I was sunbathing on the shore of the lake. I also swam and even took a diving course. I should admit that the water of the lake is really clean and pleasant to swim in. I should admit that all the cities located in Venice are reach in various historical sites. And Peschiera del Garda is not an exception. I especially liked the Santa Maria Church. I also enjoyed walking along the Piazza “Ferdinando di Savoia. It is one of the most popular meeting places among the people of Peschiera del Garda. As Peschiera del Garda is located right in the centre of the Lugana vineyard area, they always have fresh wine. I have never tasted such a delicious wine before, so I enjoyed it almost every night. Well, I should admit that Peschiera del Garda, like other Venetian cities, is really beautiful and I do all my best to spend my vacation in Venice again.

Travelling nowadays has become an essential part of modern life. And I can not imagine my life without travelling. For me it seems as necessary and natural as eating and sleeping. That’s why I travel a lot. Last summer I made an exciting trip to Egypt. I went there with my boyfriend. We booked our tickets in advance and I can say that we felt quite comfortable during the flight. When we arrived at the Egypt, we went to our studio that we booked on-line. Everything was so nice and clear that I was a bit at a loss. I didn’t expect the private apartment to be so clean and cozy. The host was friendly and kind to us all the time we stayed in that studio. My boyfriend adores diving and he was fascinated with the beauty of underwater world. In Egypt we ate different dishes of Italian, Egyptian and eastern cuisine. As for me, I met many interesting people from all over the word. It appeared that the majority of them always searches for accommodation on-line. They said that it was cheaper and more comfortable than to stay at a hotel. And I agreed with them. So we had really unforgettable vacation there. And I am sure that the next time I go somewhere, I will search for my next apartment on the internet.
